The Pomodoro Method for Time Management

This method was created by a college student named Francesco Cirillo around the 1980's to complete his assignments without feeling overwhelmed. One of the struggles of going to school is taking multiple courses, given excessive amounts of work, and not being able to remember what was taught since you're being bombarded with so much new information. We feel you, we've been there, and we think this technique will help you study AND retain all your tasks and assignments. However, this technique is universal and can be used by anyone!

The Pomodoro Method

1. Choose one task you want to complete.

2. Set a timer for 25 minutes and focus solely on this single task until the timer rings.

3. Take a 5 minute break.

4. Check off the first Pomodoro session on your Notepad (sessions are the first 4 steps of the method).

5. After 4 Pomodoro sessions, take a more restful break for 15-30 minutes and repeat.
