The Time Blocking Method for Time Management

This method is our favorite! We just love color coding our tasks on our planners because it's aesthetically organized and we know how much time we need to spend on each task!

The Time Blocking Method

Benjamin Franklin was widely known as one of the first users of the time blocking method. He blocked certain times for tasks, chores, and rest. It's quite simple and probably one of our favorites!

1. Create a list of high-level priorities, decide how much time you'll spend on each task, and color code your tasks on your 2021 Planner.

2. Schedule your rest and lunch breaks for the day.

3. Use a timer to stay on track with your scheduled blocks.

4. Add a buffer block at the end of your day to catch up on tasks you didn't complete during their scheduled time.
